The service was outstanding — I was dining alone, but the staff treated me with the same warmth and attentiveness as any group. Every dish was delicious, especially the waffles. The yogurt wasn't overly sour; instead, it had a subtle sweetness that paired perfectly with the slight tartness of the berries — absolutely first-rate. There was a minor mix-up during the meal, but the staff handled it quickly and professionally. Their efficiency and attitude are truly commendable. If I visit Brisbane again, I’ll definitely come back!
Popped in for breakfast and ended up coming back for dinner - that should tell you everything! The smash avo on toast was brilliant - fresh, flavour-packed, and perfectly paired with a coffee that could wake the dead and make them smile. Couldn’t resist returning later for a delicious burger and a pint of pale ale that sealed the deal. The staff are effortlessly friendly (the morning server looks like the singer Keli Holiday 😁) the kind that make you feel like a regular on your first visit, and the moody interior sets just the right tone. Easily my favourite accidental two-meal day cafe/restaurant in Brisbane.
A tucked away gem! We arrived at Happy Hour and had drinks and food. Staff are super friendly and the atmosphere is great, not too loud but good background music and chatty. The tempura cauliflower was perfectly seasoned it didn’t need the dip that came with it and lightly battered so it was deliciously crispy. The jackfruit loaded fries were full of flavour and a generous portion! The halloumi bagel was super tasty especially the tomato relish, we’d definitely have come again if our trip was longer, a must do for next time! There was a great choice of seating from tables to sofas and bar stools, air con was at the right temperature. We’d highly recommend ☺️
Real nice spot in the city. Staff were very attentive and we barely even had to wait for our food. We both got burgers and they were delicious! Definitely a nice change of scenery from the hustle and bustle of Queen st. Will come again.
Absolutely nailed it. The food at Brew Cafe & Wine Bar is next-level comfort done right. The crispy sweet potato fries were perfectly seasoned and addictive, paired with a creamy dip that just works. The wings? Sticky, juicy, and packed with flavour — cooked spot on and beautifully presented. Great drink selection too — ice-cold beers and a relaxed, moody vibe that makes it the perfect place to unwind with friends. The setting feels cozy yet cool, and everything from the plating to the atmosphere shows attention to detail. If you’re after bold flavours, generous portions, and a laid-back bar experience, Brew Cafe & Wine Bar is a must-visit. Can’t wait to come back 🙌🍻
I had the sweet breakfast waffles (waffles, seasonal berry compote, strawberry coconut yoghurt, vanilla & coconut ice cream, fresh berries & maple drizzle). It's even better than it looks on the photo. The café is in a small alley, filled with grafitti, from the main street. Inside the place has a great, welcoming vibe. And, not unimportant, staff was very friendly.
This was a gem we found while visiting Brisbane. Great friendly staff, great food and yummy and tasty bacon eggs benedict. Try the Brew juice as well freshly made. Good coffee and service. We've had several breakfasts there and they are consistently great. Highly recommend them!
My first time in Brisbane city . Found this place by recommended ChatGPT and read a customer review from Google. Glad I pick this place for my meal of the day after traveling 14hours. Staff very friendly and attentive. It’s a weekend, so it’s normal for full house . I’m lucky that I got table, for one. I got still water on my table . Order and payment need to be placed at the counter. Card transaction will incur a processing fee. 15%surcharge on public holiday , 5% on Saturday and 10% on Sunday. Some ongoing promotion will be found on the menu. Special dietary also available on the house. Good selection of menu and I had good weekend brunch meal and coffee. Nice ambiance and vibes to dine and hang out . Toilets are dry and very clean to use . Hygiene restaurants 👍🏻
Really great little gem. Very unique and worth the visit for a cafe experience that’s got a different vibe. Absolutely loved it. Highly recommended. Food and coffee were great and they all came out pretty quickly.
If you didn’t know it was there you’d walk right past Brew Cafe & Wine Bar! I know I have for the many trips I’ve made to Brisbane over the last few years. We ventured down into the old car park and refuse area on Lower Burnett Lane in search of coffee and breakfast. (I used to work at Dunkin’ Delicious Donuts in Albert St way back in 1986 and that’s what it was back then!) As you go in and turn right past the kitchen you arrive in the cafe proper. It’s dimly lit, has eclectic decor and a lovely welcoming atmosphere. There are cozy booths, group tables, high bar tables and bench seating so it caters for all groups. We started with coffee which was deliciously warm and refreshing after an early morning flight. We ordered our breakfast and although it might have been a little slow coming it was so worth the wait. My eggs and bacon were perfect. They might have got my hubby’s order wrong as it arrived with poached eggs not scrambled…but it’s possible I made that mistake. I would happily go back for a meal or even a few drinks of a night time. Very highly recommended and the staff were lovely and engaging.
